process of betting in the marketplace is a risky
undertaking, but something just about anyone can do these days via electronic
computer/digital phone. Consider a quote from John Maynard Keynes, an economics
professor from back during the time of the Great Depression:
“Speculators may do no harm as bubbles on a steady stream of
enterprise. But the position is serious when enterprise becomes the bubble on a
whirlpool of speculation. When the capital development of a country becomes a
